Psychotherapy

There are many psychotherapy options for people with schizophrenia. The most common include cognitive behavioural therapy, family therapy, case management, psychoeducation, and group therapy. There are a range of other options such as art and drama, dance and music therapies, as well as animal-assisted therapy and mindfulness. Other therapies are targeted to specific outcomes and groups, such as high-risk groups, people with substance use disorders, children, people with cognitive problems, or negative symptoms.
